Fees include the following:
- Three one hour sessions of training for your team. All festival (non-premier) team members must attend at least one (1) training session.
- Race fees for the Saturday and Sunday competitions.
- Use of Coast Guard-approved PFDs and paddles, provided during training sessions and festival.

*Festival training sessions and use of festival steerers are not provided for Premier and ERDBA member teams.

DIVISIONS:

Community Sponsored by individuals or non profit organizations (12 yrs and up)
Corporate Sponsored by for profit organizations (12 yrs and up)
Premier ERDBA Teams (12 yrs and up)
Youth All paddlers between the ages of 12 and 18 as of Jan. 1, 2010
BCS Breast Cancer Survivors

 

CLASSIFICATIONS:

Mixed At least 8 out of 20 PADDLERS must be female. (ALL YOUTHS TEAMS MUST BE MIXED)
Open No gender restrictions
Women All female

*Boats with less than 8 females will be automatically moved to the Open classification regardless how the boat is registered.

Note: Team Captain changes to Division, Classification, and team description are permitted until the close of registration on April 15th. This must be done in order for the Festival to have a timely release of the Race Schedule.

 

TEAM SKILL LEVEL

Premier ERDBA Team and/or Team that practices regularly for 6-9 months out of the year.
Intermediate
All Team Members have participated in at least 2 Dragon Boat Festivals in the past year.
Novice
New Team and/or Team consists of mainly New Paddlers.

 

 

[We request that you send in your registration fee within 7-10 days after registration. Due to the limited capacity of the Festival this year, if we have not received your registration fee 10 days after acknowledgment of your team registration, your registration slot may be forfeited to accommodate wait-listed teams]

 

Refund Policy:

Refund will be given to teams who withdraw on or before April 15th and have not started training, less a $50 administrative fee. A deduction of $200 per training session will be made if the team has attended training sessions prior to withdrawal. No refund will be given for teams that withdraw after April 15th.

If the festival is unable to take place do to reasons outside the organizers control, the event will be cancelled and there will not be any roll-over of registration fees applied towards future festivals. No refund will be given if the race is canceled for reasons beyond the Event organizer’s control.
